Why do Electric Vehicles need a service?

All Electric cars need a routine Service just like Petrol and Diesel vehicles to keep them in good condition and safe. Electric Vehicles are made up of far fewer parts than their alternatives Petrol & Diesel, this makes them generally easier to maintain as they don’t have fuel systems, spark plugs or exhausts.

There are 3 main components in an Electric Vehicle, the Onboard Charger, the Electric Motor and the Inverter. Our Technicians are fully qualified to IMI Level 3 Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Operator and Maintenance, so you can be confident that your car will be in the right hands. We will of course review all other parts of your vehicle such as Battery, Gearbox, Brakes, Tyres, Filters, Fluids & Suspension to ensure your car is working correctly and you can enjoy lots of happy & safe motoring.
